St Gabriel's church is located in the south-east corner of Cheshire East, around 7 miles both to the east of Crewe and the south of Congleton, and is in the diocese of Shrewsbury.  The town of Shrewsbury is 40 miles to the south-west of Alsager. However, we are also within 2 miles of the border with Staffordshire, with the towns of Kidsgrove and Newcastle-under-Lyme and the city of Stoke-on-Trent all within 10 miles.
